About the Role
Friendly Acura, a premier Acura dealership in the Hudson Valley, is seeking a skilled B or C technician to join their team. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies.
- Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional service needs and complete online multi-point inspection reports.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an auto technician.
- Proficiency in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team player mentality.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma.
- New York State Inspectors License.
