About the Role
Future Today Strategy Group (FTSG) guides Fortune 500 companies and global institutions through complex strategic decisions, helping them define their future. We are seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our team, working directly with clients and leadership to address ambiguous challenges with analytical rigor and structured thinking. Your work will shape recommendations for long-term choices and create near-term momentum.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured research across industries, emerging developments, and client-specific challenges.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into original frameworks, clear business implications, and actionable strategic recommendations.
- Take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of assigned work, coordinating closely with colleagues and communicating progress, dependencies, and potential issues.
- Work efficiently within agreed scope and timelines, maintain accurate time and progress reporting, and flag changes that could affect delivery.
- Create compelling presentations, strategy memos, and other deliverables that communicate complex ideas with clarity and polish.
- Present findings, lead working sessions appropriate to your level, and support engagement leaders in workshops and key client meetings.
- Apply FTSG’s foresight methodologies and contribute reusable research, frameworks, and lessons learned to the firm’s knowledge base, tools, and systems.
- Seek and act on feedback, share knowledge, and contribute to a supportive, ambitious team culture.
- Mentor junior colleagues, review their work, and provide constructive feedback to support their development (Senior Consultant level).
Requirements
- Relevant consulting experience.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including structured research, synthesis of complex information, and quantitative analysis using Excel or similar tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to develop polished slide decks, strategic narratives, and clear recommendations.
- Professional presence and client-facing experience, including leading meetings.
- Strong organization and delivery discipline, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and collaborate across a project team.
- Practical proficiency with large language models, supported by strong independent research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; business, research, economics, strategy, game theory, or related fields preferred.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Candidates must be able to travel internationally.
- A valid passport is required.

- Consultant base salary: $71,000-$125,000
- Senior Consultant base salary: $93,000-$155,000
