About the Role

This role is primarily responsible for estimating bespoke luxury retail fabrication projects, while also providing expertise and support to the Fabrication Production Management team. It involves understanding client briefs, identifying efficient production practices, costing projects, and communicating effectively with project teams and clients to manage expectations and ensure quality, budget, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Operating with integrity and performing whole and complete work for colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Ensuring Echo House maintains its status as an industry-leading team of dynamic, proactive, and professional specialists.
Producing accurate estimates with clear and concise explanations of assumptions, compromises, and suggestions.
Managing production of works as and when required.
Providing general department support as and when required.
Aligning with the project team and occasionally clients on their requirements and brief details.
Managing client expectations where necessary.
Estimating fabrication works.
Creatively providing cost-saving or quality-raising adjustments or alternatives to client briefs.
Troubleshooting briefs and requests from clients.
Establishing CPAs for works in collaboration with the Project and Fabrication Management teams.

Requirements

Thorough understanding and interpretation of client briefs.
Ability to identify the most effective and efficient production practices.
Ability to identify appropriate material usage.
Ability to identify vendor solutions when required.
Ability to comprehensively cost each aspect of a project.
Clear communication skills.
Constant interaction with Project Coordination and Fabrication Management teams.
Maintaining a focus on quality, budget, and timely delivery.
Fabrication and material knowledge, particularly regarding build capabilities, restrictions, and best practices for luxury retail environments.
Creative production understanding, particularly with knowledge of luxury retail fabrication (temporary and permanent).
Commercial acumen.
Comprehensive supplier & outsourcing skills.
Knowledge of large format graphics is ideal.
