About the Role
As a Surgical Coordinator, you will guide patients through every step of their surgical journey, ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Schedule surgeries and manage changes
- Educate patients on procedures and pre-op instructions
- Collect and document patient and insurance information
- Coordinate medical clearances
- Perform IOL measurements and clinical testing
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Collect patient payments
- Support physicians
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
