About the Role
Seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join the leadership team of a large day nursery. This is a supernumerary role supporting the Manager in running the setting.
Responsibilities
- Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
- Support the team on a daily basis
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
- A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting
- Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
