  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks arising from geopolitical factors, single-source dependencies, and market volatility in the networking supply base.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier financials, and component availability to inform category strategy and support long-range capacity planning.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on supplier selection decisions, presenting recommendations to engineering, finance, and operations stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier qualification and onboarding processes in partnership with quality and operations teams for new network hardware vendors.
  • Implement process improvements and analytical frameworks to increase sourcing efficiency, cost transparency, and supply chain resilience across network categories.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, commodity management, or strategic sourcing with a focus on network hardware, data center infrastructure, or related high-technology categories.
  • Experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts, including pricing structures, supply commitments, and performance terms for hardware or components.
  • Experience developing should-cost models and applying cost analysis to support sourcing strategy and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
