About the Role
All Aboard is seeking warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team in Ossining and Valhalla. Working alongside experienced Teachers, you'll help create a play-based, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. We provide training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the Teacher in creating a safe and engaging classroom
- Assist with play-based learning activities and daily routines
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and teammates
- Assist with classroom observations and documentation
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Interest in early childhood education and working with young children
- Experience in early childhood, childcare, camps, or other child‑focused settings
- Coursework toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- A caring, patient, and dependable approach to working with children
