About the Role
As a (Senior) Product Manager, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for our control center software. You will identify market and customer needs, develop compelling product strategies, and collaborate closely with development, sales, and other stakeholders. Your strong customer understanding and strategic thinking will ensure our solutions deliver real value and achieve sustainable success, directly contributing to our vision of shaping the future of public mobility.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing development of the product strategy in line with market and technology trends, as well as company goals.
- Market, customer, and competitor analysis, along with structured customer validation with transport companies and internal market managers.
- Translation of customer problems into scalable value propositions.
- Holistic management of the product lifecycle, including positioning, pricing, release and launch planning, as well as further development and phasing out.
- Development of business cases and preparation of robust investment decisions for management.
- Involvement and empowerment of internal stakeholders through strategy workshops, demos, and documentation.
- Representation of the product to management, customers, and partners, as well as steering product performance using appropriate KPIs.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategic product management, preferably for complex B2B software.
- Strong business acumen and experience with business cases, portfolio decisions, pricing, and product-related KPIs.
- Strong customer and market orientation.
- Persuasive communication with technical and commercial stakeholders, and enjoyment in guiding diverse interests towards clear decisions.
- Structured, data-driven, and pragmatic approach with a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Knowledge of public transport, ITCS/control center systems, or comparable software systems is a clear advantage.
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
