About the Role
This fantastic Nursery in Catford is looking for a very experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the setting, support the growth in occupancy and team, and support best practice. The role will require you to have managed previous settings and taken a setting through an Ofsted Inspection in the management role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the setting
- Support the growth in occupancy and team
- Support best practice
- Deliver high-quality care and learning
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Support and guide staff across the nursery
- Manage nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
- Lead a nursery, manage operations, and drive improvements
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years
- Minimum 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role
- Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
- Passionate about early years and committed to outstanding outcomes
- Confident leader
- Experienced in leading a nursery
- Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards
