About the Role
This role is for someone who wants to solve complex product problems at the intersection of privacy, advertising, data, and connected-device technology. You will own an increasingly important product domain for Samsung's EMEA business, shaping how consent capabilities develop alongside advertising, data, and measurement products. The role requires navigating technical complexity, influencing global teams, and building foundational product capabilities for a growing advertising and services business.
Responsibilities
- Own the EMEA product roadmap for consent and privacy-related products, including existing consent mechanisms, setting strategy and priorities, defining development needs, and maintaining product ownership through delivery and operation.
- Work closely with Ad Experiences and Data & Measurement Product & GTM teams to align the consent and privacy product roadmap with their developing products and capabilities.
- Translate the roadmap into clear product requirements and collaborate with global product and engineering teams for delivery, owning requirements, acceptance criteria, sequencing, testing, and managing technical dependencies and risks.
- Act as the primary product counterpart to Privacy, translating legal, regulatory, and policy requirements into product specifications and collaborating with the Privacy team throughout development.
- Represent EMEA’s consent and privacy product requirements with global product and engineering teams, ensuring regional needs are understood and reflected in planning, and tracking global developments affecting the EMEA roadmap.
- Drive alignment and delivery without formal authority by building relationships with global product and engineering teams.
- Collaborate across multiple functions and global teams, utilizing strong influencing skills to drive alignment without formal authority.
- Own product requirements, roadmap, prioritization, and technical readiness for the consent and privacy product domain.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, ideally within AdTech, CTV, data, and/or privacy technology.
- Strong understanding of CTV and streaming ad products, including their build, delivery, sales, and related privacy/regulatory requirements.
- Ability to hold commercial and technical perspectives simultaneously and find the connection between them.
- Proven track record of owning product requirements and delivering products through engineering or product teams.
- Experience managing a product roadmap, prioritizing requirements, and coordinating dependencies across multiple teams.
- Ability to translate complex business, legal, or policy requirements into clear product specifications.
- Technically literate, able to engage directly with product and engineering teams on requirements and technical dependencies.
- Experience working with global product or engineering teams and influencing roadmap prioritization.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across different functions and seniority levels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Action-oriented self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and able to lead a product domain independently.
- Experience with consent management or privacy technology is helpful.
- Experience with IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) is helpful.
- Pan-European experience in media or ad tech is preferred.
- Deep privacy or legal expertise is not required.
