About the Role

As a Platform/DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers, delivery managers, and architects on Cloud Platform Design, On-prem to Cloud Migration, Automated Deployment, Infrastructure Provisioning, and Security Testing. You will work on Platform Engineering, Operations, and Security projects, partnering with Product, Architecture, and Software Engineering teams to deliver secure products and cloud platforms supporting company OKRs.

Responsibilities

Champion DevSecOps, promoting secure practices across the team and business, integrating security into the project lifecycle.
Drive cloud migration by moving on-prem services to a multi-region, highly available Azure platform (PaaS and IaaS), building Azure landing zones and container setups on Azure Kubernetes and Docker.
Automate manual build, release, and operations tasks, extending and securing Terraform and PowerShell module libraries, and creating reusable templates.
Manage global platforms by setting up monitoring, enterprise dashboards, and usage/uptime reporting to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Own incidents and maintenance, prioritizing incidents to meet SLAs, finding root causes, and performing planned maintenance.
Collaborate with developers, architects, platform engineers, and IT operations to design and deliver secure, compliant products.
Write clear operational and security guides, and continuously improve processes, tools, and cloud costs.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS across compute, networking, security, and data.
Experience building Azure Landing Zones with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
Experience leading multi-region migrations from on-prem, including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring.
Strong Terraform skills.
Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, SQL, KQL, and Packer.
Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and CI/CD, including integrating security and code quality tools.
Experience setting up, automating, and supporting Kubernetes and Docker environments, preferably on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Hands-on experience with WAF, security logging, monitoring, alerting, privileged access management, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
Knowledge of security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, open-source, and container scanning).
Experience applying security controls across data, infrastructure, and applications.
Experience with business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery.
Experience leading complex cloud projects end-to-end.
Familiarity with Agile methods and operations practices.
A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
A strong grasp of information security and cloud security best practices.
