About the Role
Coordinate the flow of artwork between departments, ensuring customer and plant specifications are met.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and write up new and revised artwork for Flexible Packaging printing plants.
- Communicate and coordinate artwork between Internal Departments, Customers or Vendors, and Artists.
- Enter jobs into order entry systems or other databases.
- Research and communicate information, specifications, and materials required for graphics orders.
- Provide artists or vendors with clear direction and special instructions for projects.
- Coordinate timelines, approvals, data transfers, asset management, and QC materials for each job.
- Follow up with internal departments to ensure jobs meet proof dates.
- Ensure art billing is correct before final billing of artwork.
- Consistently meet acceptable standards of quality and quantity.
- Contribute to department and corporate goals.
- Demonstrate a teamwork attitude.
- Maintain housekeeping.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of JDE to obtain the information needed to process art.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Mac OS and Windows along with associated software.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Suite.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to identify and analyze a problem.
- Ability to pass a Color vision test within normal limits.
- Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near vision ability to read 10 –12-point font at 12-18 inches.

Education Level
- Degree in Graphic Arts or Flexo Printing Technology or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required.
