Lead mechanical and electrical design on technically demanding projects, managing engineers across multiple regions and improving design processes. This role involves leadership at the project level, building teams, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and engineering activity on major projects, including power, cooling, telecoms, and controls.
- Manage design teams across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
- Serve as the point of contact for construction teams facing complex challenges.
- Improve design processes and evolve the 'Kirby Way'.
- Recruit, coach, and develop engineers.
- Represent design and engineering confidently in client tender interviews and kick-off meetings.
Requirements
- A strong electrical design engineering background.
