About the Role
We are seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels for our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required. Your expertise can ignite a passion for learning and make a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
- Developing, updating, and improving course materials.
- Using a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials.
- Actively engaging in staff development, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties.
- Understanding and staying current with latest developments in the field and student support practices.
- Working towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression.
Requirements
- Master's degree in an Accounting and Finance field from the UK or equivalent from PSRBs (PhD desirable).
- Previous UK HE lecturing experience in core accounting modules (Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit, or similar).
- Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
- Experience supervising student work, providing support and feedback.
- Experience with accurate reporting and maintaining organized student records.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
