About the Role
You will assure quality across our consumer mobile app and business web platform, from test design to production monitoring. You will build automation, define release readiness, and contribute to the final human sign-off before each release. Your work enables teams to ship quickly and with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Design test strategy and acceptance criteria with development and product teams.
- Build and maintain mobile and web end-to-end automation and run it in CI.
- Test APIs and backend services, including contract and data validation.
- Run performance, load, and security testing across mobile, web, and APIs.
- Assist in release validation and the final human sign-off on every release.
- Set up production monitoring and follow findings through to a fix.
- Effectively deploy and use AI agents.
Requirements
- 5+ years in QA automation, site reliability, or a closely related engineering role.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and Python, with a firm grasp of backend, frontend, and database concepts.
- Experience with mobile end-to-end automation using Appium, Detox, or Maestro on iOS and Android.
- Experience with web end-to-end automation using Playwright; Selenium or Cypress also welcome.
- Experience with API, performance, and security testing, including OWASP basics, using tools like Postman and k6.
- Experience with CI pipeline authoring (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and SQL for data validation.
- Ability to write clear bug reports and acceptance criteria.
- A valid driving license (EU category B or equivalent).
- Experience in mobility, logistics, or another operations-heavy consumer product is highly desired.
- Experience testing payment flows in a consumer or business product is highly desired.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling for production systems is highly desired.
- Experience writing test code in Go or another typed backend language is highly desired.
- Experience with GDPR-aware test data handling is highly desired.
- Experience with accessibility and usability testing is highly desired.
