About the Role
As an Application Engineer in the Data & AI division, you will be responsible for the entire V-shaped waterfall development process, from customer system requirements definition to deployment, implementation, and testing. Depending on the project, you may be stationed at the client's site. Work content and employment type can be discussed individually.
Responsibilities
- Create and review system requirements definitions and specification documents (RD/FR).
- Create and review basic design documents (BD) and support system configuration planning.
- Coordinate specifications and interfaces with clients and vendors.
- Create detailed design documents (DD) and implement code.
- Participate in code reviews and internal quality checks.
- Make design decisions considering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and execute unit and integration tests.
- Create test specification documents and test result reports.
- Analyze and fix defects.
- Manage schedules and issues, and report progress to leadership.
- Communicate within the team and with clients using Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain and manage documentation assets.
Requirements
- Experience with V-shaped waterfall development, including all phases from requirements definition to testing.
- Practical experience in software design and implementation, including basic design, detailed design, development (Java, C#, etc.), and unit testing.
- Experience creating documents such as requirements definitions, design documents, and test specifications.
- Communication skills to collaborate smoothly with team members and clients (experience with online tools like Microsoft Teams is a plus).
- Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
