About the Role

Provide project management, technical support, and oversight for small-to-mid-sized capital projects ($1 MM – $10 MM), focusing on natural gas meter stations and small-diameter lateral pipelines. This role requires transparent cost tracking, client communication, and efficient execution from inception to close-out, especially for reimbursable projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initial scope development through construction, commissioning, and final asset integration.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for cost-plus or reimbursable projects to ensure seamless billing and client audit compliance.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; generate accurate cost estimates and Authorizations for Expenditure.
  • Perform sizing and specification for meter runs, valves, filters and piping components.
  • Manage the material procurement process and lead the bidding/selection of third-party construction contractors.
  • Evaluate construction contracts and commercial agreements, ensuring scope clarity and risk mitigation.
  • Lead weekly progress meetings and generate routine status reports for both internal personnel and external customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-year accredited degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience with preference in midstream or utility industry experience.
  • Direct experience with meter stations, interconnects, and/or small-diameter pipelines is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage 'customer-driven' projects where high levels of communication are required.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of multiple smaller projects simultaneously at different stages of the lifecycle.
  • Self-motivated with a 'boots-on-the-ground' mentality; comfortable working with both field technicians and executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Project/Excel).
  • Experience with AutoCAD or hydraulic modeling (e.g., ProMax, Synergi) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25-50% to project sites for kick-offs, tie-ins, construction oversight, commissioning, etc.
