About the Role
This role involves providing dedicated legal advice on technology procurements for TfNSW and other agencies within the NSW Transport portfolio. You will collaborate across the organization, partnering with stakeholders to offer guidance on technology legal matters, with support from senior lawyers and opportunities for independent work.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on technology procurements for TfNSW and other agencies within the NSW Transport portfolio.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation, partnering with stakeholders across various business units.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of technology legal matters.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in law and a practising certificate in NSW.
- Minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
- Knowledge and experience in drafting and negotiating technology contracts.
- Familiarity with Transport’s goods and services procurement framework.
- Models the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct.
- Individuals with commercial contracts experience and a genuine interest in technology contracts will be considered.
Skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical legal concepts clearly and succinctly.
