About the Role
Partner with major wealth clients to understand their strategic priorities, economics, operating models, and decision-making structures, identifying opportunities for long-term growth. This role offers senior client exposure, meaningful commercial ownership, and the chance to shape the future of wealth management in Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Own multi-year strategic account plans for priority Australian and New Zealand wealth clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business models, economics, operating structures, and competitive pressures.
- Originate and progress enterprise partnership opportunities leveraging BlackRock’s capabilities.
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients and industry participants.
- Mobilize investment, product, technology, legal, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to advance opportunities.
- Deliver measurable commercial and client outcomes through new mandates, solutions adoption, technology engagement, and enterprise partnership initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, strategic accounts, enterprise partnerships, or a related financial services role.
- Strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand wealth market.
- Experience engaging clients beyond product discussions, including business strategy, operating-model evolution, investment architecture, technology enablement, and distribution growth.
- Curiosity about how large organizations operate and strategic thinking to navigate complex stakeholders.
- Commercial judgement and enterprise-partnership capability.
- Investment fluency across exchange-traded funds and indexing, active management, alternatives, multi-asset strategies, accumulation, retirement, and solutions-oriented propositions.
- Clear and confident communication, strong analytical capability, disciplined execution, and a collaborative, high-ownership working style.
