About the Role
The Writer-At-Large intern will cover film-related content for the site as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Set’s target demographic. This is a virtual and unpaid internship where you will gain valuable writing experience.
Responsibilities
- Write business of entertainment features and reviews of POC-led, produced, and/or directed films weekly.
Requirements
- Possess an aptitude/interest in writing about the business side of the film industry.
- Possess an aptitude/interest in writing about the history of cinema.
- Possess an aptitude/interest in reviewing films from various genres.
- Possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write socially relevant fact-based commentary.
- Submit a cover letter, resume stating experience, and three published clips.
