Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace residential plumbing systems.
- Perform water heater repairs, installations, and replacements.
- Identify and resolve plumbing issues involving piping, fixtures, leaks, drains, and other residential plumbing components.
- Thoroughly evaluate customers' plumbing systems and provide professional recommendations.
- Clearly explain findings, repair options, and replacement solutions to homeowners.
- Educate customers and help them make informed decisions about their homes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Follow company procedures, service standards, and customer communication expectations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every service call.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a residential service plumber or plumbing technician.
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and applicable plumbing codes.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
- Willingness to follow company procedures, training programs, and performance expectations.
- Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must maintain a clean, professional appearance, follow company uniform and dress code requirements, and represent Glamorgan Heating & Cooling with professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Must have a strong ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with customers.
- Must be personable, respectful, approachable, and comfortable interacting with homeowners daily.
- Must be coachable, receptive to constructive feedback, and eager to improve.
- Must have proven residential plumbing experience, strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, and an understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and industry best practices.
- Must be comfortable identifying customer needs, presenting multiple repair or replacement options, and helping homeowners choose the best solution for their situation.
- Must be reliable, punctual, organized, self-motivated, and committed to following company processes and maintaining high standards.
- Must work well with others, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
