About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Temporary Full-Time Bartender to join their talented team. This is a temporary full-time assignment starting at 3 months with the possibility of extension based on business needs. This role is an opportunity to be part of a leading luxury hotel company.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Deliver attentive and engaging service to guests seated at the bar and lounge areas.
Provide recommendations and share knowledge of beverages, ingredients, and menu offerings.
Accurately enter orders and process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions using the POS system.
Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
Assist with inventory management, restocking, and preparation of garnishes and beverage components.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of bartending experience or related hospitality experience.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to obtain and maintain required food handling and alcohol service certifications.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
Strong problem solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
