About the Role

MarqVision is a rapidly growing company that quickly creates new products never seen before. As a backend engineer, you will build entirely new systems without being bound by existing methods. You will quickly understand product direction based on AI technology and experiment with and apply various cutting-edge technologies. You will deeply understand problems, proactively consider and execute solutions to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Design and build basic server architecture.
Redefine and design from scratch the structure and role of AI-powered servers.
Collaborate with various teams to find the best direction, going beyond simply implementing given guidelines.
Aim to build robust and scalable systems, but prioritize delivering tangible results within limited time.
Deeply understand domains and data, and define and create necessary data.

Requirements

Familiarity with technologies such as Kotlin / Ktor / Exposed, or no hesitation in learning new tools regardless of specific languages or technologies.
Experience with AWS / OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) / PostgreSQL, or confidence in acquiring these skills quickly.
Familiarity with interacting with LLM-based tools such as ChatGPT / Grok / Gemini.
Ability to clearly explain the operation and potential issues of self-created features.
Ability to understand the essence of a problem and suggest better solutions, rather than just performing assigned tasks.
Proactive work ethic with a high sense of responsibility.
Ability to view problems from various perspectives and communicate smoothly, without distinguishing between one's own role and others'.
Emphasis on teamwork and communication within the team.
