About the Role
Own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of assigned services or feature areas. Deliver operational targets with significant impact on departmental results, resolve difficult problems through detailed analysis, and communicate technical information to ensure understanding across partner teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of one or more frontend services or feature areas.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical designs through detailed analysis and investigation.
- Build accessible, high-performing interfaces and contribute to the shared design system.
- Explain technical designs and recommended changes to engineering, Product, and Design partners.
- Provide technical guidance and training to associate and intermediate engineers.
- Operate assigned services independently and seek leadership guidance for decisions with broader implications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UI or frontend engineering experience.
- Production experience with React or equivalent and TypeScript.
- Experience with Next.js or equivalent, design systems, web performance, accessibility, and automated testing.
- Experience with adjacent technical disciplines relevant to the assigned engineering area.
- Track record of providing training or technical guidance to other employees.
