About the Role
Own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of assigned services or feature areas. Resolve difficult problems through detailed analysis and communicate technical information to ensure understanding across partner teams.
Responsibilities
- Own test strategy, automation, and quality outcomes for assigned services or feature areas.
- Conduct detailed analysis and investigation to resolve difficult quality problems involving related systems or disciplines.
- Build UI, API, integration, performance, and end-to-end automation and CI/CD quality gates.
- Explain quality risks and recommended changes to engineering and cross-functional partners and ensure shared understanding.
- Provide technical guidance and training to associate and intermediate engineers; may delegate work and review work products.
- Operate independently within the assigned quality domain and seek leadership guidance for broader policy or platform decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience.
- Experience with automation frameworks, API and UI testing, CI/CD quality gates, performance testing, service virtualization, and test-data management.
- Experience with adjacent technical disciplines relevant to the assigned engineering area.
- Track record of providing training or technical guidance to other employees.
