  • Administer government and commercial contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and purchase orders in accordance with applicable contract terms, customer requirements, and AMA policies.
  • Administer agreements under which AMA is a subcontractor, including negotiating prime contractor terms, tracking obligations and funding, and coordinating modifications and closeout.
  • Review, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements, including master services agreements, task orders, statements of work, nondisclosure agreements, and teaming agreements.
  • Interpret contract clauses, assess contractual and business risks, and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate scope, payment, acceptance, warranties, indemnification, liability, intellectual property, confidentiality, and termination provisions.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Program Management to resolve cost overruns and funding issues.
  • Maintain complete, accurate contract and subcontract files in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, technical representatives, Finance, Procurement, customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and other contracts staff.

  • Ability to research unfamiliar or nonroutine issues, apply established guidance, and develop proposed solutions.
  • Sound judgment in resolving matters independently and escalating risks promptly with relevant facts, actions taken, and recommendations.
