About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex capital construction projects. This role is ideal for a construction professional with experience in project controls, schedule management, cost analysis, contract administration, and field coordination who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all phases of construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Analyze project schedules and monitor progress against critical milestones.
- Support project controls functions, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Review contractor schedules, payment applications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Perform bid evaluations and bid leveling analyses during procurement activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of construction project experience.
- Knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, contract administration, procurement, and reporting.
- Master's degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Public-sector or institutional project experience.
- A proactive, detail-oriented construction professional with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
