About the Role
Your sharp eye and strong observation skills with attention to detail are crucial for capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. As an Access Control Security Guard, you will be responsible for spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres and call centers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols
- Follow direction and multi-task
- Perform access control duties
- Use various forms of communication via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams
- Read standing orders, emails, and briefs
- Process information quickly
- Write incident reports
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Ontario security license
- WSIB approved First aid certification
- Strong report writing skills
- Computer skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
