About the Role
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries like food, mining, and transport. We are seeking a senior HR partner to advise engineering and product leaders, shape organizational design, manage the talent cycle, develop leaders, and handle employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior HR partner and trusted advisor to engineering and product leaders.
- Lead org design, workforce planning, and headcount strategy.
- Run performance reviews, calibrations, leveling, and promotions for engineering and product.
- Partner closely with compensation on pay decisions.
- Run talent reviews, strengthen the bench of engineering managers and directors, and coach technical leaders.
- Manage sensitive employee relations matters, reorganizations, and change.
- Track attrition, engagement, and org health, and translate learnings into action with leadership.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of HR experience.
- Senior HR or people business partner role supporting a product and engineering organization of several hundred or more.
- Experience at a company known for its engineering strength.
- Understanding of how technical teams are built, leveled, and managed.
- Direct partnership with a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Chief Product Officer.
- Credibility with technical leaders.
- Experience owning engineering performance and calibration cycles, career ladders, and promotion processes at scale.
- Ability to stay hands-on and move quickly.
- Ability to perform best in a high-bar, fast-paced environment.
