Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain high-volume, low-latency Java-based applications.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and test software.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in design stages.
- Identify infrastructure changes.
- Create technical designs for user stories based on overall system design.
- Write well-designed, testable code.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and common data structures/algorithms.
- Experience developing in cloud platforms using native cloud technologies and building cloud-agnostic technologies.
- Experience with modern development practices like Test-Driven Development and Clean Code.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners and explain outcomes.
- Strong product sense to align work with business objectives and make appropriate tradeoffs.
