About the Role

This role sits within the Data Center Energy team in our Portfolio Operations organisation. You will work at the intersection of Data Center Operations, Accounting, Power Procurement, and Finance, as well as external energy advisors, data centre providers, and utilities. You will partner closely with these stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of energy data, support forecasting and accrual processes, and help build the analytical foundation we need to scale our data centre portfolio efficiently. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a fast-growing team early and help establish scalable energy data, reporting, and operational processes that are critical to CoreWeave's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end collection, validation, and analysis of energy usage and cost data for our EMEA data centres, and act as the subject matter expert on what drives changes in both usage and cost
  • Partner with data centre providers, utilities, and third-party energy partners to obtain billing, interval, and rate data, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data integrity
  • Analyse historical energy usage and forecast future energy costs using third-party platforms and internal tools
  • Support site selection teams in researching and procuring new sites, including reviewing and editing energy contracts and payment structures, and forecasting costs for prospective locations
  • Support monthly and quarterly accrual and close processes by providing accurate energy data and analytical insights to Finance and Accounting
  • Load, reconcile, normalise, and analyse interval energy data across enterprise systems and internal data platforms
  • Collaborate with Data Center Operations and site teams to interpret energy data in an operational context, and support standardised reporting and dashboards for leadership
  • Contribute your insights and preferences as we build internal tools and dashboards, or build them yourself

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with energy usage, interval data, or power cost analysis
  • Strong understanding of utilities, rate structures, and energy markets across Europe
  • Strong background in data analysis, including collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large datasets
  • Curious about the intersection between energy, AI workloads, and AI infrastructure, with the drive to start conversations and share insights that are useful to internal and external partners
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to detail, analytical modelling, and data validation
  • Experience with forecasting, planning, or trend analysis
  • Ability to create clear, structured reporting packages for operational and financial stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and a preference for working cross-functionally across internal teams
  • Experience supporting data centre, hyperscale, or large-scale infrastructure operations (highly preferred)
  • Experience with data platforms, BI tools, or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau), including the use of AI tools
  • Prior experience working with third-party energy management platforms (e.g., Arcadia)
  • Successful applicants offered employment with CoreWeave will be required to complete a basic criminal record check, conducted in compliance with GDPR. Employment offers are conditional upon receiving satisfactory check results.
  • This position requires access to export controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must either be (A) a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, (B) eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization, or (C) eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization from the applicable U.S. government agency. CoreWeave may, for legitimate business reasons, decline to pursue any export licensing process.
