About the Role
Perform cleaning, painting, and minor repair of crane components and accessories for Morrow Equipment Company.
Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare crane components.
- Overhaul and repair crane and hoists components using basic mechanics hand tools.
- Learn and operate shop machinery and power tools.
- Utilize proper rigging equipment.
- Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on tools and shop equipment.
- Ensure lifting equipment is in safe operating condition prior to use.
- Follow all Company safety rules, policies, and procedures, including proper usage of Company-supplied PPE.
- Represent the Company in a professional manner, including proper maintenance of Company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Notify the Shop Foreman or District Service Manager of unsafe conditions and/or practices.
- Safeguard tools and equipment belonging to the Company.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work at heights as required.
- Work extra hours, including overtime and on-call availability, according to business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by District Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace.
- Assist co-workers whenever possible.
- Work overtime when necessary.
- Constantly work in a safe manner and comply with all Morrow safety policies.
Requirements
- May be required to maintain a current CPR and First Aid certification.
- May be required to maintain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s carrier.
- May be required to have a forklift operator’s license.
- May be required to maintain a Crane Operator Qualification.
- May be required to complete rigger/signaling training and/or certification.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability and willingness to work extra hours, including overtime and on-call availability.
- Employees should not lift loads in excess of 50 lbs. without first seeking assistance or making use of mechanical aids.
- Employees are expected to maintain a clean, safe and orderly workspace, assist co-workers whenever possible and work overtime when necessary.
- All Morrow employees are required to constantly work in a safe manner and comply with all Morrow safety policies.
