About the Role
The Comms Team is responsible for telling Snap’s story to key audiences, including Snapchatters, advertising partners, content partners, investors, policymakers, and Snap team members. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Advertising Communications to lead communications for Snap’s advertising business.
Responsibilities
- Lead communications strategy for Snap’s advertising business, focusing on the ad platform, audience, innovation, and value to advertisers.
- Partner with senior advertising leaders on media strategy, executive communications, thought leadership, and industry events.
- Develop and execute communications for advertising products, partnerships, research, customer success stories, and small and medium-sized businesses.
- Build relationships with advertising, business, and technology media to shape conversations about Snap and the advertising industry.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Research, Investor Relations, Legal, and Comms to align priorities and execute campaigns.
- Manage team members and agency partners while remaining hands-on with strategy and execution.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 10+ years of experience in communications or public relations.
- Experience managing people and leading complex communications programs.
Skills
- Deep communications experience.
- Strong knowledge of the advertising, marketing, technology, and media industries.
- Strong media relationships.
- Excellent instincts for compelling business or advertising stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience advising and preparing senior executives.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional work.
- Ability to make decisions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Zone B: $199,000-$297,000 annually
- Zone C: $178,000-$266,000 annually
