About the Role
IMEG is hiring a Virtual Design Technician Coordinator in San Francisco, CA to produce models and documentation using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. You will work closely with Technicians, Coordinators, Designers, and Engineers on projects. This role works within the project’s monetary budget and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The team supports commercial and institutional markets.
Responsibilities
- Model, edit, rework, and update models and drawings from project designer markups.
- Collaborate with team members to develop models and drawings.
- Assist engineers and designers with field measurements of existing building systems.
- Prepare models and drawings from field data.
- Export documents and transfer files to clients.
- Follow established modeling and drawing-production standards and coordinate models and workflow across the design team.
Requirements
- No experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients
- Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High level of professionalism
Skills
- Revit skills desired
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models desired
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering as-built drawings desired
- Basic experience in the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software preferred

Salary/Compensations
- $34.15 - $41.85 per hour
