About the Role
TYLin is seeking a BIM Lead to join their Water Sector team in the Greater Toronto Area to manage BIM coordination and design for water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage projects in BIM360 including plant layouts and division into specific engineering disciplines
- Manage BIM coordination across project teams and other disciplines
- Conduct clash detection and issue tracking to identify and resolve design conflicts
- Layout and design of vertical water/wastewater infrastructure (treatment plants, pump stations) from conceptual to detailed design
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical engineering/engineering technology or closely related field
- CET with OACETT preferred
- 8+ years of experience in the execution of water/wastewater infrastructure projects preferred
- Proficiency with BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions
