About the Role
We are seeking highly talented and driven software engineers to join our Engineering team in London. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality code that solves real problems for customers. This role offers ownership of team-solved problems and the opportunity to work in a top-performing international development team, ideal for those passionate about problem-solving with code in a high-achievement environment.
Responsibilities
- Design technical solutions to business problems and contribute to an architectural vision for a scalable research platform.
- Ship working code using React for frontend, Kotlin microservices with Postgres for backend, and Ruby on Rails for older services.
- Deploy and iterate frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD, incorporating customer feedback.
- Build competency by developing market-leading technology with experienced colleagues and utilizing an L&D budget.
- Monitor services, troubleshoot errors, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes.
Requirements
- Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team.
- Technical expertise with at least one programming language (Python, Kotlin, Ruby).
- Ideally, experience with relational databases.
- Proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles.
- Highly driven and proactive, with the ability to overcome hurdles independently.
- Meticulous with high standards and attention to detail.
- Must be a current UK resident.
