About the Role

Skills of Central PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional or CNA to become a Residential Team Leader in East Berlin, PA. This supervisory role involves directing staff, ensuring quality of service, and providing daily living support to individuals with disabilities. The position requires flexibility, multi-tasking, and a willingness to be trained to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

• Directs assigned staff on a daily basis ensuring quality of service.
• Provides day-to-day variety of everyday living services and care to individuals with disabilities using positive approaches with respect for individual rights.
• Completes monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Monitors Behavior Support Plans, when applicable.
• Completes and approves staff time sheets.
• Schedules staff.
• Completes and participates in staff performance evaluations.
• Fills in based on the needs of the program, during times of vacancies, when staff call off, etc.
• Performs on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 3 years working directly with individuals who require specialized services is preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience also preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the United States

Skills

• CNA certified
• FLS certified
