This role requires a curious, proactive, and meticulous analyst with exceptional quantitative skills and the ability to frame data as compelling strategic narratives. You will collaborate with data experts across BI, Product, Engineering, and Consumer Research to support the mission of inspiring and enabling people to live their healthiest lives every day. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analytical partner to Marketing, Content, and Product teams, embedding data-driven insights into campaign planning, editorial planning, and execution workflows.
  • Own Sigma BI Tool for all company reporting, building and maintaining executive-level dashboards that track core marketing KPIs.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for data structures, ensuring consistent tracking, definition, and usage of metrics across the marketing organization.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to define data requirements and ensure data integrity across multi-brand user bases.
  • Consult on warehouse set-up and performance for data quality.
  • Create and own downstream models using DBT or similar.
  • Evaluate, adopt, and integrate AI-assisted analytics tools and generative AI workflows to automate routine queries, accelerate data exploration, and optimize team reporting pipelines.
  • Conduct complex quantitative and qualitative analyses on performance data to identify root causes, trends, and high-value growth drivers.
  • Support long-term marketing forecasting, budget allocation planning, and predictive modeling initiatives alongside BI and leadership teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize high-impact testing hypotheses, analyze experiment results, and synthesize learnings into documented best practices.
  • Translate granular data into compelling narrative presentations for executive leadership, framing technical findings around concrete business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience, preferably within a digital media, publishing, or subscription-based digital business.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL writing complex queries, window functions, and data transformations.
  • Expert-level experience with BI tools (Sigma, Domo, Looker).
  • Heavy experience with web/newsletter analytics (Google Analytics 4, Sailthru, or similar ESP analytics).
  • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and automation.
  • Hands-on experience applying predictive modeling, classification algorithms, or AI/ML libraries to address business challenges like churn risk, LTV projection, or content recommendations.
  • Experience querying Snowflake and BigQuery (or similar).
  • Advanced mastery of digital marketing and media metrics, including CPA, LTV, ROI, conversion funnel dynamics, email metrics (open, click, deliverability), and web traffic acquisition patterns.
  • Proven ability to distill complex analytical findings into crisp executive summaries and strategic recommendations.
  • A cross-functional team player with strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, extensive engineering partnership experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
