About the Role

We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to build core product and platform systems across Adaptive. You will own customer-facing workflows, design new simulation capabilities, scale product infrastructure, improve detection systems, or help launch new greenfield products. This role offers autonomy and ownership, placing you close to the product, customers, and technical decisions shaping the company's future.

Responsibilities

Build end-to-end systems, working across backend services, detection pipelines, product infrastructure, and user experiences to ship products that prevent AI-powered social engineering.
Drive execution and product strategy by taking ambiguous customer problems, evaluating tradeoffs, and collaborating with product, design, and engineering.
Ship high-quality production software on a fast-paced team, optimizing for no-maintenance products through simple designs, thoughtful abstractions, and reliable systems.
Help the team improve by sharing context, reviewing thoughtfully, mentoring, and continuous learning.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience shipping production software that real users depend on.
Hunger for ownership and autonomy, thriving when trusted to make decisions and own outcomes.
Care for craft balanced with pragmatism, knowing when to prototype, harden, and simplify.
Clear and empathetic communication skills, able to explain nuanced ideas and tradeoffs to various audiences.
Experience building enterprise SaaS products in security, AI, or data-intensive environments.
Experience leading teams, founding a company, or working in a high-growth startup environment.
Existing expertise with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
