About the Role
As a Sales Lead, you will create the best possible customer experience by staying current on product knowledge, promotions, and marketing initiatives. You will engage with customers, respond to their needs, and communicate the brand's sustainability and ethical commitments, sharing your passion for our products. You will operate as part of a dynamic team to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Create personalized shopping experiences for customers that drive brand loyalty.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Address customer questions accurately and respond before they leave.
- Provide exceptional service from start to finish, including communicating the return policy.
- Maintain and model a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members.
- Promote the store and brand image in all interactions, adhering to a dress code.
- Be personally available to all customers to provide exceptional service.
- Operate the cash register and handle money accurately.
- Check inventory daily and ensure products are stocked and available.
- Merchandise product in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area and employee break area.
- Practice safety-consciousness and respond to theft in accordance with policies.
- Promote a positive work environment by recognizing outstanding performance from team members.
- Maintain a respectful workplace.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of retail store experience preferred.
- High School Diploma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
- Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
- Excellent team building skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet the needs of the business.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
