About the Role
Elite Team Logistics is seeking a Private Aviation Security Screener to ensure the safety and security of air travelers. This role offers flexible hours, paid training, and travel compensation.
Responsibilities
- Treat all information as confidential.
- Project a positive, well-groomed, professional image.
- Provide Elite service to all involved in the operation.
- Coordinate, secure, and set up screening locations.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, clients, and airport staff.
- Verify passenger identities and clear discrepancies.
- Inspect passengers and belongings for prohibited/hazardous items.
- Ensure continuous supervision of screened passengers until boarding.
- Assess situations and notify law enforcement or GSC when necessary.
- Report government tests, real weapons, injuries, and major incidents.
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and report maintenance needs.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years or older.
- Must be a United States citizen via birthright or naturalization.
- Must pass and maintain a 10-year criminal history background check.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation drug and alcohol test and submit to random tests.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED/equivalent.
- Proficiency in communicating in English with diverse people.
- Physically capable of standing throughout a two to four-hour shift with constant bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Reliable transportation to and from various locations.
- Successful completion of all required training and ongoing certification.
- Must have a cell phone, e-mail account, and skills to navigate web-based platforms.
