About the Role
Develop, test, and integrate AI/ML capabilities into software applications and products. Collaborate with experienced AI and software engineers to build reliable, maintainable, and scalable AI-powered solutions. Develop hands-on expertise in production AI and software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build applications and software components using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
- Develop and enhance prompt workflows, pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and semantic-search capabilities.
- Develop Python-based AI/ML applications, APIs, services, and supporting software components.
- Integrate AI models and services with existing software applications.
- Assist with model evaluation, testing, performance measurement, and optimization.
- Participate in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI/ML solutions.
- Collaborate with product, data, software, and platform teams to deliver business-aligned AI solutions.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex AI/ML and software issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Ensure AI solutions meet software quality, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability expectations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML software engineering experience, including developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
- 2+ years of experience with prompt engineering, pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- 2+ years of programming/software engineering experience using Python, with demonstrated ability to develop clean, maintainable, production-quality software.
- 3+ years of software engineering/programming experience, with strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one additional programming language such as C++ or Java.
