About the Role
As a Senior Corporate Client Advisor, you will acquire and advise medium-sized companies with a need for credit and cross-selling products in Eastern Germany, focusing on Berlin. You will also manage assigned cooperative banks and collaborate with product departments and subsidiaries to drive client management and sales activities. Additionally, you will conduct client meetings with product specialists, foster cross-selling, develop customized product solutions for new trends, and support other corporate client advisors in challenging client discussions.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and advise medium-sized companies on credit and cross-selling products in Eastern Germany, focusing on Berlin.
- Manage assigned cooperative banks.
- Collaborate with product departments and subsidiaries to drive client management and sales activities.
- Conduct client meetings with product specialists.
- Foster cross-selling approaches.
- Develop customized product solutions for new trends.
- Support corporate client advisors in challenging client discussions.
- Provide technical support to co-advisors.
Requirements
- Successful degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Alternatively, training as a bank clerk with further qualifications or a dual study program.
- Many years of professional experience in corporate client advisory.
- Experience working with cooperative banks is a plus.
- Proven track record in client acquisition.
- Knowledge of the medium-sized corporate client business and its management.
- Familiarity with key performance indicators for client profitability.
- Proficiency with a bank's product range for corporate clients.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Experience in the cooperative banking sector is a plus.
- Experience in credit business, balance sheet analysis, and balance sheet structure management.
