About the Role
The Risk Management Team is responsible for measuring, monitoring, and managing the firm's risks. This role involves identifying, quantifying, evaluating, and reporting risks from trading strategies across all asset classes, and collaborating with trading and technology teams to develop risk management tools and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Identify, quantify, evaluate, and report risks resulting from trading strategies across all asset classes.
- Collaborate with trading and technology teams to create and maintain tools for risk management and analytics.
- Make managers aware of existing and potential risks to the firm and its investors.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java, including the ability to apply programming skills to data analysis, quantitative problem-solving, or similar technical work.
- Familiarity with machine learning is required.
- Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- A professional, accountable approach to work and an ability to collaborate in a manner consistent with the firm’s culture and values.
