About the Role
As a Warehouse Delivery Material Handler, you will be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain by manually loading trucks with products for customer delivery. You will work in a fast-paced environment, lifting, lowering, and carrying product, stacking empty pallets, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace while ensuring safe work practices and embracing our safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Manually load trucks with products to be delivered to customers.
- Lift, lower, and carry product in a fast-paced environment.
- Stack empty pallets.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Ensure safe work practices and embrace safety culture.
Requirements
- Ability to be MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment as required.
- Ability and willingness to keep work area clean.
- Inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues.
- Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
- Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
