About the Role
Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, located near the beaches of Ocean City, MD. This is a full-time, year-round developmental position with an awesome overnight team, focused on ensuring guests have a good time.
Responsibilities
- Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment.
- Ensures the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence.
- Responsible for preparation of cold food items, including salads, cold sandwiches, and desserts.
- Ensures product quality and presentation to specifications.
- Responsible for adherence to sanitary codes as mandated by State, Local, and Federal agencies.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs. without difficulty, repeatedly.
- Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
