About the Role

InfoSum is WPP's privacy-first data collaboration technology, trusted by global businesses to unlock the full potential of their first-party data without risk. This role is a hands-on, client-facing technical position responsible for owning the full lifecycle of client implementations, from pre-sale scoping through post-sale execution and ongoing technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Own an assigned portfolio of WPP clients and partners, serving as their primary technical contact and implementation lead
  • Scope, design, and execute data collaboration solutions from initial discovery through go-live and ongoing optimization
  • Act as a "customer-facing DevOps resource" during the post-sale cycle—troubleshooting, building, and maintaining client implementations across multiple cloud environments
  • Write SQL queries, Python scripts, and build data workflows to deliver insights and activate campaigns for clients
  • Support pre-sale technical conversations, solution design, and proof-of-concept work alongside the sales team
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, implementation playbooks, and process standards as the team scales
  • Implement InfoSum's native app technology across all five major cloud environments (GCP, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks) over the next 6-12 months
  • Support growing WPP-internal initiatives including Data Meter (usage tracking), Data Catalog (asset discovery), and Dataset Audit (data validation)

Requirements

  • SQL proficiency (ESSENTIAL): Must be comfortable writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Python for data operations: Hands-on experience using Python to format data, create deliverables, and automate workflows.
  • Cloud environment experience: Experience working in at least one of: GCP, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Databricks. Comfortable navigating cloud storage, understanding data pipelines, and troubleshooting technical issues in cloud environments.
  • API integration experience: Has worked with or supported API-based integrations between platforms.
  • Service mentality: Approaches technical work with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent communicator: Can translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: Thrives in fast-moving, evolving environments where processes are still being built.
  • AdTech/MarTech experience (ESSENTIAL): Must understand the paid media ecosystem.
  • Data collaboration or clean room familiarity is a strong plus.
  • Hungry to learn and grow: Excited by exposure to different cloud environments, privacy technology, and sophisticated data teams.
  • Process-oriented: Naturally thinks about documentation, standardization, and replication.
  • Proactive and ownership-driven: Sees problems, raises them, and proposes solutions.
