About the Role
An ideal opportunity for an undergraduate to join the UK Demand Planning Team, supporting the team to plan and improve forecast accuracy across the brands in the UK Market. This opportunity offers valuable exposure and insight into the supply chain of the Beauty industry, providing experience to support ongoing business objectives related to product forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Run daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Maintain current trackers
- Bring improvements to existing reports
- Build presentations as requested by the team
- Help the team with meetings minutes and follow ups
- Assist and support with new product launches
- Take on other demand planning projects as part of the teams’ yearly goals (e.g. SKU classification)
- Support UK demand planning team across all brands
- Work with supply planning and commercial to manage unexpected customer orders
- Provide day-to-day support in executing demand plans & conducting regular forecast analysis as directed
- Support the demand planning team with UK sales team requests
- Provide insight and analysis to improve forecast accuracy
- Help with preparations for the S&OP meetings
- Liaise with marketing and sales team to ensure testers forecast is captured
- Conduct analysis on the customer forecast and provide insights and conclusions on recommendations for the sales plan
- Communicate supply chain issues that could affect the business
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Excel, numeracy and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Learns quickly and understands dynamics within the market and fragrance category
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
- Ability to work effectively to deadline
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to build strong working relationships
