About the Role
This Sydney-based position supports Acadian’s institutional and wealth client service and sales processes, offering a direct route into client service and sales roles within the financial industry. The role involves preparing meeting materials, client reporting, and follow-up actions, requiring strong work ethic, attention to detail, communication skills, and a passion for success.
Responsibilities
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams, clients, prospects, and consultants.
- Provide client service and sales support to the relationship management team.
- Schedule and track meetings.
- Prepare presentations and materials for clients and prospects.
- Oversee new account start-ups and closures.
- Ensure all activities comply with Acadian’s internal control and compliance framework.
- Collaborate with internal groups to meet reporting requirements and maintain management systems.
- Assist with completing client and consultant reporting.
- Work with global teams to complete consultant, researcher, and prospect RFPs and questionnaires.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Commerce/Business/Economics/Accounting.
- Ambition to complete further study, e.g. CFA.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably funds management.
- Strong service mentality to respond quickly and professionally to prospect and team needs.
- Accomplished independent worker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Well organized with exceptional attention to detail.
