About the Role
The Lead Reporting Manager is responsible for the strategic management and continuous development of the reporting landscape across multiple HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level. This role serves as a key interface between technical teams, project and program leadership, and external stakeholders, focusing on proactive analysis, maintaining transparency on project performance, and ensuring high-quality reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the reporting framework across several HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level.
- Ensure the preparation, consistency, and quality of reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, program leadership, and steering committees.
- Analyze complex project data to identify key trends, deviations, and develop data-driven recommendations.
- Coordinate cross-project data inputs to deliver accurate, comparable, and timely reporting across all megaprojects.
- Work closely with project and program managers to monitor progress, support strategic decisions, and communicate key insights.
- Facilitate management and stakeholder meetings with well-structured reporting presentations.
- Support risk identification and mitigation efforts through KPI and variance analysis.
- Provide guidance and onboarding support to other reporting managers and new team members.
- Promote a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or controlling for complex infrastructure programs or multiple major projects.
- Proficient in reporting tools such as Excel, and Smartsheet.
- Strong initiative, responsibility, and strategic thinking mindset.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary and international project environments.
